From day one, we at STAR have provided strategic and operational support in transforming their technical documentation. The objectives were to replace the existing content management system with a future-proof, XML-based CMS and to integrate it with the company-wide knowledge graph. This laid the foundations for the efficient and automated generation of configuration-compliant publications based on the company’s ontologies.
STAR provided support in migrating the existing documentation using a greenfield approach. We carried out a comprehensive information analysis and harmonised the content to create a consistent structure. The documentation was further enhanced by adding materials such as tools, standard parts and accessories directly to the respective instructions. In parallel, we developed the concept and specifications for the solutions, took responsibility for the programming and ensured that everything was subsequently integrated into the system landscape.
