STARpilot is a GDPR-compliant AI platform based on an advanced large language model (LLM). It has been specifically developed for companies in Europe and offers a wide range of applications, from knowledge management and customer service to process optimisation. STARpilot is available as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution and can be run either in the secure Telekom Cloud in Germany or on-premises on your own servers. On request, we can fine-tune the underlying LLM to your specific corporate requirements and processes.

STARpilot processes data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the Telekom Cloud in Germany or, if preferred, on-premises. Your information will not be used to train the AI. Unlike US providers, your data is not subject to the CLOUD Act and remains fully protected under European data protection legislation.

STARpilot is fully GDPR-compliant and protects corporate data in accordance with the highest security standards. The service is hosted in the Telekom Cloud in Germany or on-premises in your own environment. We ensure that all data is processed and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This ensures that data remains subject to European data protection legislation and is also protected in relation to the CLOUD Act. With comprehensive security measures and regular updates, we also ensure that your data remains protected at all times, even in a volatile environment.

Yes, STARpilot is based on its own language model, which is built on Meta’s open-source Llama 3. It has been specifically developed to meet the needs of European companies and is tailored to German-speaking countries and the European context to ensure optimal results and the highest level of accuracy.

When using STARpilot, your data is stored either in the secure Telekom Cloud (OTC) in Germany or on your own servers (on-premises). The LLM is trained exclusively in-house, without any external internet connection, meaning that your data will not be used to train external models. At the same time, for applications with no specific data protection requirements, you have the option of accessing the OpenAI API directly. In this case, your data could be used by US companies for training purposes. This flexible solution allows you to choose the level of data security and performance that best suits your needs.

We offer a variety of options for seamlessly integrating the AI platform into your existing IT systems: Using the versatile API, you can connect data sources (e.g. documents, SharePoint or Confluence) and integrate STARpilot into your workflows. Predefined connectors or those developed specifically for your system also enable direct connection to live data sources such as SQL databases, in-house APIs or CRM systems. As a SaaS solution, STARpilot is immediately ready for operation, allowing you to quickly reap the rewards of generative AI within your processes. STARpilot is designed to be up and running very quickly. Hosted in the Open Telekom Cloud, it can be deployed almost immediately. If your company prefers an on-premises setup on its own servers, we offer a guided implementation, which may take a little longer depending on your company’s requirements.
